Games with minimal or no equipment.

In PE we have been participating in a variety of games that require little or no equipment.
Below is the Matrix which shows our progression in this unit of learning.

The table below shows my understanding of games with minimal or no equipment.

Examples of Games that need minimal or no equipment.
What equipment would we usually need to play these games.
Why do we play games with minimal or no equipment?
French Cricket
seaweed / octopus
invisible touch/tag
battle ships
versions of tag
Bat and ball
Cones
Cones and Bibs
To be active and to have fun
to get fitter
so we don't have do waste time getting gear

My Strengths.
Some things that I have done well during this unit of learning are playing the games because some games are fun.

My Next Steps.
Some things I could improve on when playing games with minimal or no equipment are trying harder in some games Because some can be a bit boring.

Striking and fielding

My Strengths

The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were being side on, good stance and eyes on the ball

The throwing and catching strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were doing the cup or reverse cup when I could

My Next Steps

To improve my striking of a ball I need to not do the pull shot and remember that I'm not using a cricket bat because we need to hit the ball in a V and the tennis racket is a lot different to a cricket bat

To Improve my catching and fielding I need to I need to judge the ball better because a tennis ball moves differently to a cricket ball

The game that I enjoyed the most was round the bases because it was easier and the rules were better
